Kim Smith
A Brookline resident for more than 30 years, I live on Brington Road with my partner, Dan Weiner, a math professor. I have done graduate work in health and disability policy and work at the MA Center for Health Information and Analysis. I have a longstanding commitment to public service and social justice.
Elected to Town Meeting in 2009, I am a member of the Green Caucus and served on the Advisory Committee as chair of its Human Services Subcommittee. I have been endorsed by Brookline PAX and Brookline by Design. A Democratic activist, I have campaigned for candidates and issues at all levels. I have served on boards and committees in health, disability, and social justice.
I will remain a progressive voice to support town schools and services, climate action, protection of parks and green space, and responsible development. I love Brookline and want it to be an inclusive and welcoming place for all.
I respectfully ask for one of your 15 votes for Town Meeting Member on May 3rd.
